Cape York Tyres & Mechanical is a family-owned business servicing the Cooktown Community and surrounding areas.
As a small business we support, and sponsor events hosted by the community such as school events, local horse sports and the Annual Hog Hunt.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, and work ethics. Two of our mechanics are highly experienced in the workforce working alongside dealerships of well-known brands.
Our Workshop Foreman, Fred, has previous worked with Toyota for 10+ years, with a total of 15 years in the automotive industry.
Our Mechanic, Eddie, has 30+ years of experience working in many dealerships— Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Mazda, Volkswagen and more.

The experience of our mechanics assists with the work quality we produce, as well as the education they provide to our current apprentices and continuing.
